Realtor.com just completed a data study of listing prices nationwide and found for the first time in many years that listing prices were down May 2023 over May 2022. The study was unable to pinpoint the last time that happened. That is not what is happening in the San Diego region however. We continue to see limited inventory keeping prices stable and even rising in highly desirable areas. The graphic shows where the prices are falling the most. They only picked one metro area per state to ensure geographic diversity so this is by no means a perfect analysis but it does provide a picture of what is happening throughout the country. Time to consider moving out of state and cashing in on your appreciation and equity?
