When you hear Waco, Texas do you think of cult leader David Koresh and the standoff with government law enforcement in 1993 or Fixer Upper? Now Chip and Joanna Gaines, of the hit reality show Fixer Upper, get more attention than the bloody standoff with the Branch Davidians and for good reason.
The couple started off renovating one house at a time in their hometown of Waco, but now they have a a shopping complex, more media programming, hotel and a line of home goods at Target.
