My ears perk up when I hear our region made a list on Forbes. Often we make these lists because of our weather or because our quality of life is so high. This time, unfortunately, the list isn't so prestigious. We made the list of seven places you need to make over $100,000 to buy a median house. UGH.
According to the article, "While the home prices in the San Diego metro area are lower than in San Jose and San Francisco, a house hunter will still need to earn at least $131,640 to buy a home with a median price of $626,000."
